Your
role with the Company:

This plant does the value added
decorating for the luxury colognes and perfume bottles that are manufactured in
their main facility near Atlanta. The plant decorates the high end bottles both
with sophisticated automated screen printing equipment as well as by lacquering
or spraying bottles different colors which is more labor intensive. This Production Manager will be responsible
for the Lacquer and Spray half of the plant.
He/she will manage between 75 to 100 employees including 5 direct
reports and will be responsible for managing cost, quality, safety as well as
all other manufacturing duties.



What
you will be doing:

-
Partner
with plant director regarding issues, concerns, production, quality, etc.

-
Evaluate
losses and overall reports.

-
Communicate
with departments at the plant regarding issues or improvements.

-
Conduct
facility and area inspection to ensure standards are met and maintained.

-
Ensure
the level of training and maintenance of the Production Unit.

-
Manage
the maintenance expenses, overheads expenses, headcount

- Implement the best practices
(Continuous Improvement, Autonomous Maintenance, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)

- Participate in production and other
facility meetings



What
you will need:

-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering or Industrial Engineering required.

-
5 to 7 years of experience leading a production team or shift, in a
manufacturing environment required.

- Demonstrated supervisory and training skills.

- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills.

-
Six Sigma certified is a plus.

-
Experience with Lean
Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, ISO and SAP a plus.
