Job Description PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/30/2025 - Duration: 15 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Requirements: 2 years of ER experience in an Acute Care setting to be considered. MUST HAVE MEDITECH EXPERIENCE. Level 1 Trauma experience Unit- Emergency Room/nFast track - A designated area to run less acute patients through. Screen a lot of non emergent patients to community care clinic./n beds/trauma bays- 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays, recess bay and dedicated stroke room/n Psych/seclusion rooms Have a 4 bed behavioral lock down area that is staffed by psych./n patients per day approx 140 visits per day/nCerts Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS. TNCC is preferred./nRatios 1 to 4/nEMR Meditech 6.15/nCharge Nurse Yes/nNurse Aides/Paramedics Yes, 2-3 per shift/nSecurity/Patient sitters Yes, will hold in main ER until admitted, will have safety sitters/nWeekend Requirement Every 3-4th weekend/nHolidays Every other/nScrub Color Caribbean Blue/nTele/Monitor Techs Central monitoring tech/nVents - Will hold in ER until admitted/nED Physicians/Mid-Levels- 1 midlevel 24/7; additional midlevel 9a-9p; MDs stagger but will always have at least 2 but based on time of day 3-4 MDS/nLab Draws- Nurses do own/nIV Team Nurses start own/nRT 24/7- Yes and dedicated to ER/nPharmacy- 24/7 In dept 11 hours per day and on campus 24/7/nFloor specific orientation- 1-2 shifts depending on comfort level/nCommon diagnosis / Types of patients: Peds to geriatrics, get trauma here, will keep some of trauma, some neuro keep but a lot of neuro trauma ship out, ortho keep some and ship some, no burns kept here, are a CVA center/nAdditional Notes Must have prior Meditech 6.15 experience and minimum 5 years experience; prefer larger ER experience/n About PHP At PHP, you are always the first focus!
