Designated teaching hospital. Key Qualifications and Experience: -
Current RN license with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience
preferred, with at least 5 years in CVOR or 2 years in General OR
acceptable - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred but
not mandatory - Experience with cardiovascular and general
surgeries including open heart, valve replacement, orthopedic
procedures, neuro spine, and more - Familiarity with EMR systems
(EPIC Optime), Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and
Phillips monitors advantageous Location Overview:Situated in Macon,
Georgia, this facility is a well-established Level 1 Trauma Center
and teaching hospital recognized for specialized centers in stroke
and chest pain. Macon offers a blend of southern charm, vibrant

for healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Include: -
Delivering comprehensive nursing care within 20 ORs, including 2
cystoscopy rooms - Participating in a call rotation averaging 14
calls per 6-week schedule, including holiday attendance -
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety
and quality care - Engaging in a one-week orientation to
familiarize with hospital protocols and technology - Upholding unit
culture focused on teamwork, safety, and inclusivity Schedule: -
10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week - Weekend
and holiday call rotations as scheduled and discussed with the
manager Additional Information: - Surgical green scrub uniforms
provided via scrub exchange system - Free parking available a short
